I have recently become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and am really excited about it. The quality of the products is first class and, if you love stamping, you wont be able to resist them! Mind you, if you haven't tried stamping yet you will love the papers, punches, inks, card etc etc. The lovely thing about Stampin' Up! are the colour stories - you can buy card, inks, papers, ribbon, brads, etc all in the same matching colour tones - its wonderful, no more wondering if your embelishments will match your paper and card.
Stampin' Up! (or SU for short) products are only available by buying through a demonstrator. We can hold a craft party in your home, where you can invite your friends and have a fun evening making something with SU's lovely goodies. You can place an order with the demonstrator at the party or you can contact the demonstrator directly and she will place an order for you. So, if you see anything you like in the catalogue (and I defy you not to) contact me and I can place an order for you. Or if you'd like a fun evening with friends being creative - let me know. Don't think you have to be an expert crafter or stamper to have a party, anyone can have a go and you wont know if you like it until you try.

I went on my very first training day on Saturday 11th February. Even the fact that I had to get up very early and go out in sub-zero temperatures (it was so cold that the garden gate and the doors on the car had frozen) didn't diminish the excitement of going for a morning of crafting. We concentrated on the items in the sale-a-bration leaflet and this is what we made:
It is 8 mini cards and a mini book holder for them. It is soo cute and is made using stamps and papers from the sale-a-bration promotion along with a few other Stampin' Up (SU) goodies.
I am also getting some samples ready and trying to decide what the lovely ladies that are coming to my very first party will make. I haven't quite decided yet but here are a few little things I have been making while the thought process is happening!

When we meet for training, we do a card swap and this was the first card I made to swap. I wanted to make something to say that I was happy to be making new crafty friends...
This one is made using the Easy Events stamping set and the paper piecing technique, which seems to be creeping into loads of things I am doing at the moment...
This one was made using a background paper I made using Marina Mist, So Saffron and Perfect Plum ink and the butterfly is from the Creative Elements stamp set.
I was asked to make a wedding card for somebody and this is what I've come up with - hope they like it!
